After the trip was over we went to stay at Jaimes for a night to get settled and make a plan for our next stop. My poor suitcase finally gave in and I replaced it with a lovely new backpack so now I really look the part. We got all equipped with sleeping bags and stuff, so now were ready to go.
Jaime lives out of London in the most gorgeous little town. Her house overlooks the thames river and is only a short walk to everything. It was so handy. After our shopping we stopped at tescos to get some wine and then went home to enjoy our drinks with our Edam cheese and crackers. It was so relaxing and such a good feeling to have no plans. Its probably the first time in my life where I have no idea where i will be or what I will be doing 24 hours from now.
We had a really nice relaxed arvo and night. In the morning we had to say our goodbyes to Dono as he was going to stay at his cousins place until he flies home. Then we repacked our cases and took off for the bus station. We intended on going to Dublin but when we got there we found out the bus was full until Wednesday. So we asked what tickets they had out of London for the day and she said the only thing left was Belfast. We figured why not, and this brings me to now. Sitting on another coach, this time for 15 hours!!! Going from London to Belfast.
Belfast is probably the one place that my dad told me I wasnt allowed to go. He said it was too dangerous, but we are big and tough enough!! (At least thats what im telling myself!!) Its a little bit scary with no plans. We have no accomodation booked, no idea where anything is. All we know is we get into Belfast at 10.30 tomorrow morning!! But its so exciting at the same time.
Well im off to stretch my legs a bit while there is still room on the bus!! At present there is about 10 people on here, but apparently from Manchester onwards its full. We have loads of water and nuts, fruit and snacks. All set to go!!
Hopefully we get accomodation in Belfast and I can fill you in again from there!!! Wish me luck!! :)
Is the backpack bigger than you?
